CWA Statement on CPUC Decoupling Decision
“On Thursday, August 27, 2020, the California Public Utilities Commission voted to eliminate water decoupling, a tool that has been in place for over a decade and allowed four of the state’s largest public water utilities and their customers to achieve historic levels of conservation while ensuring customers only pay for the service they receive.”
